John McCain, I DO Care If America is In Iraq for Ten Thousand YearsI wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it myself, but there it was. Bob Scheiffer from CBS News asked John McCain about his comment that he'd like to see American soldiers in Iraq for 100 years, and here's what John McCain said in response:"I don't think Americans are concerned if we’re there for one hundred years or a thousand years or ten thousand years."Senator McCain, America hasn't even been in America for one thousand years. Why would the American military be in Iraq for ten thousand years? I am one American who is concerned that John McCain thinks its no big deal to send American soldiers into a war that lasts ten thousand years. By the way, you can see John McCain's statement yourself at the end of the following video, which is well worth watching in itself: |
